Admissions & Appeals

Christ The King Catholic Academy is a place to believe, a place to belong and a place to become.

Any parent wishing to apply for a Reception place for their child to attend our school needs to complete an application form.

Our pupil admission number (PAN) is thirty in each class from Year R to Year 6 and we have a twenty-six place nursery for pupils age three and above.

For Reception places there is an online or paper copy option which must then be submitted prior to the deadline for school admissions. See the Local Authority Website, below.

Appeals Timetable

Timetable for Blackpool primary school appeals for admission to September 2026

By Friday 25th May 2026

Appeal forms to be recieved by Democratic Services, in order for the appeals to be heard in the first round of hearings.

Appeal forms can be submitted after this deadline but the hearing will not be held until later in the year

By Friday 22nd May 2026

Any additional documents that parents/carers wish to provide (ie, medical evidence) should be sent to democratic services

By Friday 29th May 2026

Notification of appeal hearings will be sent to parents/carers

By Friday 17th July 2026

Appeals that have been submitted by 15th May 2026 will be heard by independent appeals panels
