This week a small group of children took part in a Boccia competition at Blackpool 6th Form. Primary schools from around the Fylde Coast took part competing and all children really enjoyed the event. Boccia is a sport designed for athletes with high support needs. It is a target sport played indoors with soft leather balls. It is a sport of intriguing tactics, incredible skill and nail biting tension. Once you see it or play it you will be hooked!
