Get ready for a heartwarming event this coming Friday, October 6th – it’s ‘Family Fast Day’! It’s a time when we all come together to think about making a small sacrifice to help others in need. Our wonderful school staff is leading by example, donating their lunch funds in exchange for a delicious bowl of homemade soup.
But that’s not all – we’re inviting our amazing students to join in too! We’re on a mission to create special harvest baskets filled with food that others will truly appreciate. These baskets will be shared with those who are less fortunate than us.
Here’s how you can be a part of this fantastic effort: please bring in one small item of tinned or dried food to school, ready for next Friday. Every little bit counts, and all your generous donations will be packed into complete, hearty meals. These meals will then be distributed to those in need right here in our local community.
