Welcome to Christ The King Catholic Academy

Christ the King is a happy and positive place for your child to learn.  It is a place where children believe in themselves and their God given talents, belong to strong community of faith and become the person that God would want them to be.

Our goal at our school is to encourage our children to “believe, belong and become” in all that they do: to make the very best of their talents and opportunities and develop their appreciation of the gifts of others. This is the heart of our Catholic identity and is the basis of our children’s spiritual and moral education.

We hope you find the website, and its sister Facebook page, informative and that they provide some insight into daily life at our school. We always welcome feedback on how we can develop them further.

Blackpool FC Community Trust

Created: Thursday, 16 July 2020 07:56

Blackpool FC Community Trust in partnership with Blackpool Council are delighted to announce free child care provision at a number of locations across Blackpool. This provision is part of the ‘Blackpool Summer of Fun’ programme aimed at supporting vulnerable children, pupils on free school meals and children of key workers.

Blackpool FC Community Trust will be running activity camps targeted at vulnerable children/ children on free school meals at Revoe Learning Academy and Westminster Academy and an activity camp for key workers from Highfield Leadership Academy. As well as free activities the children attending will also be provided with a free meal, drink and snacks for the day.

*This service is limited to 30 places per site so it is essential we try and support the families most at need*.

In order for us to deliver to these targeted families most at need we require the support of local school to direct the appropriate families to the booking services available.

We would appreciate if you could contact any parent/ guardian you feel falls into any of the categories stated previously.

I have attached a letter for parents/ guardians which outlines the service available and how to book on.
