Belong to a loving school family.
Become the best version of ourselves.

Christ The King Catholic Academy is a place where we Believe in Christ The King and the words he commanded@@Belong to a loving and nurturing family@@Become a community who achieves greatness whilst living out Gods plan

Our motto at Christ the King is: “Believe, Belong, Become” and embraces the vision for our pupils and school. We work hard to engage our pupils to believe in themselves, belong to our community in faith and strive to become the best that they can be. Pupils and staff at the school are lucky to enjoy the benefits of a brand new building offering high quality resources and outdoor space for our children to play and learn in. A unique addition to our site is our new parish church which is adjacent to our building but can be accessed from within school.

The work we undertake here in Blackpool will always be challenging with our school serving one of the top ten most deprived wards in the country (IDACI Index), but the co-operative and tireless approach of our schools, growing together over the last few years, has been fundamental to our success.

We are rightly very proud of the work our governors, staff and pupils have done to make our school what it is today. Our Diocesan Inspection (2019) “outstanding” judgements across all areas and recent Ofsted “good” grading (2023) is testament to this.

There is, as always, much to do as we continue to be ambitious for all children to experience the very best teaching and achieving well.

"Pupils arrive at school happy and enjoy attending Christ The King. They say that everyone is welcome in their school. Leaders have strong positive relationships with parents and carers, who speak highly of the school and are appreciative of the support given to families."

"The quality of provision for the Catholic Life of the school is outstanding. Christ the King is a welcoming, inclusive, friendly community with a strong ethos where everyone is valued and pupils and staff flourish. Leaders, managers and staff have high expectations and a shared vision with regard to the Catholic mission and ethos. ."
