Year 3 Nature Exploration: A Day of Creativity and Adventure

Year 3 students in Stanley Park creating art with their nature items.

Last Thursday, the Year 3 class embarked on an exciting and enriching journey to Salisbury Woodland and Stanley Park, immersing themselves in the wonders of nature and creative expression.

The day was filled with exploration as the students delved into the enchanting woods, discovering the beauty and diversity of the natural world around them. One of the highlights of the day was the creative session where the Year 3 pupils used their gathered natural treasures to craft unique and imaginative portraits.

In the coming days, Year 3 is eagerly looking forward to documenting their memorable experiences. The students are planning to compose diary entries that capture the essence of their adventures, reflecting on the sights, sounds, and emotions they encountered during their day in the woodlands.

A heartfelt thank you goes out to the dedicated volunteers who accompanied the class on this educational excursion. Their support and assistance played a crucial role in ensuring the success and enjoyment of the trip. We are immensely grateful for their time and commitment to enhancing our students’ learning experiences.

The Year 3 nature exploration day was a splendid blend of education and enjoyment, fostering a love for the outdoors and nurturing the creative spirit within each student. As we await the eagerly anticipated diary entries, we can’t help but feel proud of the wonderful memories created during this memorable school outing.
