Recently, our Year 5 and Year 6 pupils had an unforgettable experience at the Grand Theatre, where they met award-winning author Katherine Rundell. Katherine shared the story of how she became an author, the sources of her creative ideas, and how her own life experiences have influenced her writing.
The children were captivated throughout the talk—especially by the daring tale of Katherine eating a tarantula! To make the day even more special, each child received a free book to take home.
It was a truly inspiring event, leaving our young readers and writers buzzing with new ideas and excitement for their own storytelling adventures.
